Scott Yahraus of Receivership Specialists joins Navigating Receiverships to discuss a recent insolvency case of his in which he took over a Cosmetics Company. Seeing many issues within both the industry and the company Scott was able to take the company to market and produce a positive outcome.
About Scott
Scott Yahraus is a positive leader who has demonstrated tremendous achievements in sales and business development. He has great relationship skills and is an effective business strategist. With a degree in economics from Creighton University in Omaha, NE, Mr. Yahraus joins Receivership Specialists as a Senior Project Manager, bringing a knowledge of sales, marketing, real estate, and technology.
Prior to Receivership Specialists, Mr. Yahraus led teams that developed business to business web-based platform for claims and judgments; created long-term revenue streams, developed best practice designed to create the highest value proposition for business creditors and attorneys; and developed relationships with some of the nation’s largest real estate operators and REITs who use the platform.
During his tenure at Alliant Capital, Mr. Yahraus was responsible for the origination and acquisition of affordable housing tax credits over a 15 state area, where he originated and performed initial deal analysis including modeling, financial structuring, negotiating, offering to purchase tax credits, and closing on highly complex real estate transactions. Mr. Yahraus was involved with approximately 50 deals annually totaling $500,000,000 in tax credit equity.

Frank Simon of Simon PLC Attorneys & Counselors joins Navigating Receiverships to talk about his experience as receiver over Arcadia Healthcare.
About Frank
Mr. Simon has practiced in district and circuit courts all across Michigan, and is licensed to practice in three other states. At Simon PLC, Frank R. Simon oversees the Receivership Team. Simon has extensive experience as an articulate litigator, assignee, receiver and counsel for receivers in civil, family and criminal cases. He is particularly skilled at obtaining resolutions to complex cases that involve real property, personal property and taxes. Simon’s expertise in management, finance, banking, insolvency and real estate are especially beneficial on cases that involve the operation of closed or ongoing business concerns. As managing member of Simon PLC since its founding in 1998, Simon has garnered extensive experience in a wide range of receivership scenarios.

Greg Milligan of Harney Partners joins Navigating Receiverships to talk about his recent receivership over a Quarry Mine and several other related entities.
About Greg
For more than 25 years, and with engagements involving onsite advisory to clients in more than 25 states and multiple foreign countries, Greg has maintained a practice surrounding troubled situations or situations that require fiduciary oversight. He joined Harney Partners in 1998 and opened the Austin office in 2001. Since that time, he has both led and collaborated on engagements with highly successful outcomes, meriting multiple peer-review awards from the Turnaround Management Association and the M&A Advisor.
The common thread which runs throughout Greg’s career is his ability to enter a new and troubled situation to quickly develop an understanding of the situation, identify the key resources needed to achieve the best possible outcome, develop multiple strategic alternatives toward that outcome, and manage the personnel and other resources required to execute the selected plan – all while developing working relationships with necessary stakeholder constituencies.
